Amanda is a former lecturer at the University of Sydney with professional interests in wildlife ecology, conservation and genetics. She joined Biolink  after a period researching the current conservation and genetic challenges of Tasmanian Devils, work that was undertaken in association with the Save the Tasmanian Devil Program.

Experience Summary

Kirsty maintains broad interests in ecology, wildlife heath and population management. Coming to biolink from a State-based conservation agency, Kirsty has designed and manages our Koala-SAT database and oversees the spatial analysis / GIS side of our work, as well as engaging in field work when the opportunity arises. Kirsty's experience with biolink includes working on the NSW Government's Koala Likelihood Modelling (KLM) project and the creation of a koala habitat model for the South Gippsland area of Victoria. Kirsty's expertise has additionally assisted in development of novel mathematical and spatial analysis techniques to identify koala vehicle-strike black-spots,  as well as teaching aspects of GIS and data base management to conservation managers.

Stephen is a wildlife ecologist and former university lecturer with nearly 40 years of experience in all facets of natural area management ranging from the investigation and planning of new conservation areas to habitat/population modelling and the design of specialised survey programs for threatened plants and animals.

Experience Summary

Recently graduated as a Marine Biologist, Jade has progressively integrated herself into the Biolink work group with a passion to broaden her experience and skills in wildlife ecology and conservation. Jade assists in all aspects of our conservation research, data management and analysis, as well as taking an increased responsibility for koala habitat and biodiversity-themed field survey programs.
