Marama Hopkins

Now working in the capacity of our Senior Ecologist, Marama graduated from Griffith University in 2003 following a year of field-based research on the distribution and abundance of two threatened frog species. Working with us since 2004, Marama has assisted with and/or undertaken a number of threatened flora/fauna surveys, ecological assessments and landscape-scale koala habitat mapping projects. Her broad interests focus on reptile ecology, biodiversity conservation and ecologically sustainable development. In addition to co-authoring a number of papers we have currently submitted for publication, Marama has also presented the results of her research on acid frogs at a national herpetology conference and is currently preparing a number of related scientific papers on amphibian ecology and behaviour.
