Wildlife Forensics

Analysis of mammalian hair contained in hair-funnel wafers, owl pellets and scats from predators such as  quolls, dogs, cats and foxes is an increasingly important wildlife survey technique. Biolink has in-house technical expertise in the field of hair analysis and maintains a small laboratory dedicated to this task at our office. Our reference collection, to assist identification, is continually expanding and contains material from all corners of the Australian continent.
