Experience summary: 

Professor Jean-Marc Hero is an internationally recognised authority on the conservation biology of amphibians, with a prolific publication history that spreads across the entire spectrum of interest from the impacts and management of disease to habitat management,  population structure, genetics, field assessment & monitoring. He has also worked extensively on the conservation of the Bilby in southwestern Queensland in addition to a host of national and international conservation projects too numerous to list. Jean-Marc's work with us includes assistance with peer-review projects and the statistical aspects of Rapid-SAT sampling, teaching Occupancy courses and the principles of searching for Black Swans, and specialised assessments of threatened amphibians.
